Amazon Prime Video, in an official statement, said that Vijay starrer ‘Master’ will premiere on its OTT platform this month. The film that was released on January 13 and is still running in theaters will have its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video on January 29.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraju, ‘Master’ had a good run in the theaters in Telugu states. It is a profitable venture. The film featuring Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi as the protagonist and the antagonist respectively received mixed reviews from the critics.
Lengthy runtime and too much focus on heroism with less focus on the story came under criticism.
The film starred Malavika Mohanan as the heroine. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director.
