Mrunal Thakur breaks silence on marriage buzz with Dhanush

Rumours about Mrunal Thakur allegedly getting married to Tamil star Dhanush have been circulating widely on social media over the past few weeks. Speculation intensified after unverified posts claimed that the actress had “officially confirmed” her wedding plans. However, Mrunal has now firmly denied these reports.

During a recent video interview promoting her upcoming film “Do Deewane Seher Mein”, when journalist Bharadwaj Rangan directly asked her, “Tell me that you are not getting married now?”, Mrunal responded clearly:

“Me? Nope. I think 14th Feb is going to be 1st April, which is April Fools’ Day. Because I don’t know who started this. It’s a scary space right now, because some are spreading rumours that ‘Mrunal officially confirmed the marriage.’”

Her response effectively puts an end to the viral speculation.

The wedding buzz gained traction on social media platforms, with several posts linking Mrunal Thakur and Dhanush romantically. However, neither of them had made any public statement prior to this clarification. There has been no confirmed report of the two actors dating.

Dhanush was previously married to Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, daughter of Superstar Rajinikanth. The couple announced their separation in 2022 after 18 years of marriage. They have two sons. Since then, Dhanush has largely kept his personal life private, focusing on his film career across Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi industries.

Mrunal Thakur, who rose to nationwide fame with “Sita Ramam”, has been busy with multiple projects across languages.
