Mrunal Thakur recently found herself at the center of wedding rumors. Several media outlets reported that she would tie the knot with actor Dhanush on Valentine’s Day (February 14, 2026). However, she dismissed the reports as completely false.
As she had maintained earlier, no wedding took place on Valentine’s Day, and she continues to remain single.
Speaking during the promotions of her upcoming film “Do Deewane Seher Mein,” slated for release on February 20, she said the incident proved that the media was wrong and she was right. She also laughed off what she described as the media’s obsession with her personal life.
Interestingly, she has not specifically addressed or denied her alleged relationship with Dhanush. She also did not explain how the wedding rumors with him began in the first place.
Mrunal is currently working on the Telugu film “Dacoit,” slated for summer 2026 release.
