Manchu Vishnu and his panel members won in big numbers in the Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA) 2021 elections. Vishnu is the new president of MAA. While Vishnu secured 384 votes, Prakash Raj garnered 274 votes.
Soon after the results came out, actor Naga Babu said he had resigned from the primary membership of the association. Naga Babu supported Prakash Raj and his pane.
In a letter he shared on social media, he said that he doesn’t want to be associated with MAA, encourages regionalism, and has narrow-mindedness.
“My resignation to MAA association will be sent in 48 hours through my staff,” he said.
