Nagarjuna introduces Bejawada Prasanna as a director

A couple of the recent action dramas that Nagarjuna Akkineni signed for have been box office bombs. “Bangarraju”, a regular family entertainer, worked at the box office. So, the senior actor has signed another such entertainer.

Throughout his career, Nagarjuna has promoted a number of screenwriters and assistant directors to director positions. Bejawada Prasanna Kumar, whose writing Nagarjuna admired, has been entrusted with the bullhorn. Super hits such as “Nenu Local,” “Cinema Choopistha Mava,” “Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada,” etc. were written by Bejawada Prasanna Kumar. The upcoming film “Dhamaka” also features dialogue he wrote.

Now Nagarjuna will star in a period comedy to be directed by Prasanna Kumar. Soon, the camera will start rolling on the film.
