With the announcement of the release date for Ravi Teja’s “Irumudi,” one thing has become clear: Nani’s “The Paradise” has once again been postponed. The film will not arrive in theaters in August as previously planned.
Directed by Srikanth Odela, “The Paradise” stars Nani as Jedalu, a rugged character sporting two braids. The film was originally scheduled to release on March 26, 2026. However, due to delays in production, producer Sudhakar Cherukuri postponed it to August and officially announced August 21, 2026, as the new release date.
The makers recently stated that 100 days of shooting had been completed and indicated that the film was on track to meet the deadline. However, with the makers of “Irumudi” officially locking August 21, 2026, for Ravi Teja’s film, it is evident that “The Paradise” has vacated the date and stands postponed indefinitely.
Industry buzz suggests that director Srikanth Odela is taking additional time to perfect the film. Apart from the remaining shoot, the project reportedly requires extensive post-production work, making an August release impractical. As things stand, the film is most likely to arrive in December 2026, although no new date has been announced.
“The Paradise” is a period drama set in the Secunderabad region and is said to be the most ambitious and unconventional film of Nani’s career. Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead, while Sonali Kulkarni essays Nani’s mother. Mohan Babu is also said to have a crucial role in the film.
Music is being composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and the first single, “Aaya Sher,” has already turned into a sensation, further raising expectations for the project.
