Nayanthara to play opposite Prabhas?

Nayanthara is one of India’s biggest female celebrities and the top actress in the Tamil cinema industry. However, she is not signing up for films with major Tamil stars. Meanwhile, there is speculation that she has signed a Telugu film in which she will star alongside Prabhas.

According to rumors, Nayanthara has consented to take a cameo part in Manchu Vishnu’s “Kannappa,” a devotional production that is being rolled out as a pan-Indian project.

Vishnu takes on the character of Lord Shiva’s devotee named Kannappa. Prabhas is rumored to have accepted to play Lord Shiva. So Nayanthara could play Goddess Parvathi.

Prabhas and Nayanthara previously worked together in the box office flop “Yogi.”
