Prasanth Neel, the director of “Salaar,” reflected on the performance of it. He said he was a little disappointed with the overall performance of the film in theaters as well as the output. Apparently, he felt the writing was not his best effort.
“Probably I was complacent due to the massive success of my previous work. Salaar has definitely not reached my expectations, but I will make sure that Salaar 2 will be one of the best of my works and the best-written script in my career,” he said.
He also admitted that he reworked his first film, “Ugramm” (Kannada), to make this “Salaar.”
The film hit the theaters on December 22, 2022. On the occasion of the film’s first anniversary, Neel spoke in detail. He said he had already written the script for “Salaar 2,” but he will start filming only after he wraps his next movie with NTR.
