Nithya Menen has turned producer with ‘Skylab’. The film releases today in theaters. What made her turn producer? She replies, “the story needed to be told. The content made to back it.”
‘Skylab’ stars Nithya Menen, Satyadev, and Rahul Ramakrishna in the lead role. It is a comedy set in a village in Telangana.
It is difficult to convince today’s younger audiences with off-beat themes. But she is confident that it would strike a chord. “The film has a paradoxical treatment. Though the film is set in a village in the 1970s, the music is contemporary. It is told entertainingly,” she added.
She will next be seen as lead actress opposite Pawan Kalyan in ‘Bheemla Nayak’.
