Ram Charan and Sukumar are set to reunite for their second collaboration, tentatively regarded as “RC17”. The film is expected to be mounted on a much larger scale and will be formally launched later this year.
Sukumar is currently busy finalizing the script, with pre-production expected to continue for the next few months. The film is likely to commence regular shooting in January or February 2027. Mythri Movie Makers, in association with Sukumar Writings, will produce the project on a grand scale.
While there has been speculation that Sukumar might rope in either Anirudh Ravichander or A.R. Rahman for the music, sources say the director has no plans to alter his trusted technical team. Devi Sri Prasad will continue as the film’s music composer, extending his long-standing association with Sukumar.
Although Devi Sri Prasad is currently making his acting debut in “Yellamma”, directed by Venu Yeladandi, the film’s shoot is expected to wrap up well before the music work for “RC17” begins. As a result, his acting commitments will not affect his work on the Ram Charan-starrer.
