Bindu Madhavi is known for natural performances. After gaining recognition in Tamil film industry, she recently made comeback to her home industry – Telugu cinema. She is now playing a key role in “Dhandoraa,” bankrolled by producer Ravindra Banerjee Muppaneni and directed by Muralikanth.
“Dhandoraa” is a story set against the rural Telangana and the ensemble cast includes Navdeep, Nandu, Ravi Krishna, Manika Chikkala, Mounica Reddy, Bindu Madhavi, and Raadhya.
The makers have unveiled the first look of Bindu Madhavi from the film. She plays a layered character named “Sreelatha”, a prostitute and mother to a young daughter.
Unlike conventional portrayals of prostitutes in cinema, this role has intimate scenes. Thus she is breaking stereotypes of the character.
