Actress Yashika Anand suffered injuries in a road accident on Saturday night in Chennai. Their car toppled as it rammed the median on East Coast Road near Mamallapuram. Yashika Anand, her friend Bhavani and two other persons were in the car.

Yashika suffered injuries while her friend Bhavani died on the spot. Yashika Anand is known for playing roles in Nayanthara’s ‘Ammoru Thalli’ and Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘NOTA’.
She was admitted to a hospital in Chennai. The injuries are grievous.
