Bollywood’s leading production house, Yash Raj Films (YRF), has officially announced that “War 2,” featuring Hrithik Roshan and NTR, will release in theaters on August 14, 2025. Although this date has been in circulation, the team today confirmed it officially on social media.
“Must say… you have set it up brilliantly even before we have started our marketing of #War2 … there will be mayhem in cinemas on 14 August 2025, worldwide,” YRF posted on X.com, confirming the date.
“War 2” is part of YRF’s Spy Universe and has generated massive hype.
“War 2” marks NTR’s official entry into Bollywood. Although he had already become popular in North Indian markets with the Hindi dubbed versions of “Devara” and “RRR,” this actioner, “War 2,” is his first original Hindi film. He plays alongside Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan.
The shooting of “War 2” is in the final phase. Due to Hrithik Roshan’s leg injury, the film’s shoot has been halted. As soon as he recovers, the makers will wrap the remaining portion. NTR will soon start participating in the filming of “Dragon,” directed by Prashanth Neel.
