Today, the much-awaited Sai Dharam Tej starrer ‘Republic’ hit the screens. A political drama, ‘Republic’ has been in the news due to its impactful trailer. Although Sai Tej could not attend the promotions due to a road accident, the film has managed to create buzz.

In the second week of October, we will witness Sai Dharam Tej’s brother Vaisshnav Tej’s second film, Kondapolam. Directed by Krish, ‘Kondapolam’ has Rakul Preet Singh as the heroine. Vaisshnav Tej’s maiden film, Uppena, was a massive blockbuster. Hence, his second attempt carries high expectations.

The third week will see the intense competition between the three films. On the occasion of the Dussera festival, Sharawanand, Naga Shaurya, and Akhil are coming up with their new films.

‘Maha Samudram’ will hit the theaters on 14th October. Sharwanand, Siddharth, Anu Emmanuel, and Aditi Rao Hydari are playing the lead roles. Directed by Ajay Bhupati of ‘RX100’ fame, the intense action drama has generated interest with its trailer.

On 15th October, two rom-coms Akhil and Pooja Hegde’s ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ and Naga Shaurya’s ‘Varudu Kavalenu’ will compete. ‘MEB’ completely relies on Pooja Hegde’s star power and the songs. The promos of ‘Varudu Kavalenu’ are interesting.

‘Pelli SandaD’ has also joined the race. Starring Roshan and Sreeleela, the film is the sequel to K Raghavendra Rao’s ‘Pelli Sandadi’. It is aiming to hit the theaters on 15th October as well.

These are notable theatrical releases in October 2021. We have to see how many of them make an impact at the box office.
