Last week. Rashmika Mandanna’s team had denied the reports that she’d be boarding ‘Animal’, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Bollywood movie. But now, the team of ‘Animal’ has officially announced her name.
It looks like Rashmika and her manager wanted the official announcement to come from the movie team, and they have deliberately denied the news.
‘Animal’ starring Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor is director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s second Hindi movie after ‘Kabir Singh’. The Telugu director made a sensation with his directorial debut ‘Arjun Reddy’. He cast Parineeti Chopra as the female lead opposite Ranbir Kapoor. However, she opted out of the project recently.
“Happy Ugadi people… We welcome Rashmika Mandanna to the world of ANIMAL to play Geetanjali,” Vanga tweeted.
Rashmika has stepped in her place. After the success of ‘Pushpa’ in Hindi, Rashmika has become a popular face. She has already completed two Bollywood movies – ‘Goodbye’ and ‘Mission Majnu’, and ‘Animal’ will be her straight third Hindi project.
Since the announcement last year, ‘Animal’ has created hype around it as fans are excited about the combination of Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ranbir Kapoor.
Rashmika Mandanna will also start shooting for ‘Pushpa The Rule’ aka ‘Pushpa 2’ later this year.
