The makers of ‘Acharya’ have issued an official statement about the film’s production progress. The film starring Chiranjeevi in the titular role and Ram Charan in a key role is nearing the completion of the shoot. The talkie part got completed. Two songs are left to be canned. The remaining songs will be filmed shortly.
Directed by Koratala Siva, the film is produced by Niranjan Reddy of Matinee Entertainments. Chiranjeevi has Kajal Aggarwal as his female interest. Pooja Hegde is paired opposite Ram Charan.
The producers said in a statement: “We completed the talkie part of ‘Acharya’ by July 31 Just two songs are pending to be filmed. From August 20, a song will be shot on Chiranjeevi garu and Ram Charan garu. Another song will also be filmed on Charan garu and Pooja Hegde in the upcoming schedule. We are completing the post-production works, too, at a fast pace. Chiranjeevi garu’s character will be very powerful in the movie. Mega Power Star Ram Charan is playing a character named Siddha. Koratala Siva, who blends message-oriented movies with commercial elements, is making the movie in his style.”
There is no word about the release plans. The film has music by Mani Sharma.
A song and a teaser came out earlier. They have received a good response.
