Pawan Kalyan, who is running for the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections on the Jana Sena party ticket, has stated an income of 114.76 in his nomination papers. He filed nomination papers today for the Pithapuram assembly constituency.
The actor-turned-politician, who lost both of the seats he contested for in the 2019 elections, hopes to win with a huge margin this time around. He declared an income of Rs 114.76 crore over the last five years, according to the affidavit filed with his candidacy papers.
He also has approximately Rs 64.26 crore in liabilities, including bank loans.
During the 2019 state assembly election, the actor disclosed assets worth more than Rs 52 crore and liabilities totaling Rs 33 crore. This time, income increased to Rs 114 crore, and loans doubled.
Pawan Kalyan is the President of the Jana Sena Party. His party has formed an alliance with the Telugu Desam Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
He has released three movies in the previous five years: “Vakeel Saab,” “Bheemla Nayak,” and “Bro.” However, he is working on “OG”, “Hari Hara Veera Mallu”, and “Ustaad Bhagat Singh”, which are at the production stage.
