The distributor is releasing the film in more than 750 locations across North America. Industry sources say timely delivery of the content and meticulous planning helped secure a significantly wider release.

“Peddi” is now on track for a strong premiere opening. With premiere shows beginning tomorrow (June 3), advance sales have already crossed $870,000. Trade expects a sharp surge in bookings over the next few hours, making a $1 million-plus premiere gross almost certain.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, “Peddi” is a period drama that blends sports and action against a rural backdrop. The film’s songs have already emerged as chartbusters, further boosting anticipation.
