Jani Master was apprehended by the Cyberabad police in Bengaluru on Thursday after police discovered his location in the city. He faces charges for allegedly threatening and sexually assaulting an assistant choreographer during film shootings.
The victim initially filed a complaint with the Raidurgam police. The police invoked provisions of the POCSO Act and other relevant cases against Jani Master, prompting him to evade capture.
Reports indicate that he allegedly abused the victim while she was a minor and continued the harassment from 2019 to the present.
