Pooja Hegde recently completed her film with Suriya, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Currently, she is working on Thalapathy Vijay’s new film, which will be his last film before he plunges into electoral politics. Besides these two big Tamil projects, she has bagged a Bollywood biggie.
The team of ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ has officially confirmed Pooja Hegde and Varun Dhawan as its leading stars. At one time, Sreeleela’s name was considered but director David Dhawan finally voted for Pooja Hegde.
Pooja Hegde will have multiple releases in 2025. She didn’t have single release this year.
Pooja Hegde last appeared in a Telugu film in the year 2022, when she played an item song in “F3.” Prior to that, Pooja Hegde experienced numerous failures, leading to her replacement by Sreeleela in two films: Guntur Kaaram and Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
After 2022, she could not bag any Telugu film yet, but luckily her career is seeing new growth with Tamil and Hindi films.
