Prabhas becomes synonymous with two-part films

Prabhas is a true pan-Indian star, and his films cost hundreds of crores of rupees to produce. A minimum budget of Rs 300 crore is required to make a film with him. The revenue generated by his films is also enormous. Hence, filmmakers are upping their game and creating epic stories.

It’s no surprise that these films must be split into two parts in order to tell their stories and recover their investment.

“Salaar,” directed by Prashanth Neel, has already been divided into two parts, the first of which is titled “Salaar – 1 The Ceasefire.” Similarly, the epic sci-fi film “Project K,” directed by Nag Ashwin, will be made into two parts.

The first installment of “Project K” will be released in theaters in 2024.

Rajamouli’s splitting of “Baahubali,” which also starred Prabhas in the lead role, started the trend of two-part movies. All of Prabhas’ upcoming big-budget films will be divided into two parts. Small-scale projects, such as the one directed by Maruthi, will be released as a regular film.
