Prabhas is a pan-India superstar. However, his last two films didn’t satisfy his fans. ‘Saaho’ did terrific business in North India, but it bombed Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and the USA. On the other hand, ‘Radhe Shyam’ bombed in all languages and all areas.
The debacle of ‘Radhe Shyam’ had dented his image. His fans urged him not to team up with directors like Radha Krishna Kumar further.
But now, he is relieved with the success graph of Prashanth Neel. The massive openings of ‘KGF 2’ have made Neel a brand director. He has now joined the league of Rajamouli and Shankar.
Neel is currently directing a gangster drama with Prabhas. The film is said to be loosely based on Neel’s Kannada movie ‘Ugramm’. So, Prabhas is happy that he has made a wise choice of teaming up with a sensational director. ‘Salaar’ will get craze like anything.
