Prashanth Neel hikes remuneration to Rs 50 Cr!

Director Prashanth Neel has directed only three films so far, out of which two are the ‘KGF’ franchise. The Kannada director has gained nationwide recognition after the mega-success of ‘KGF Chapter 2’. Much before the release of the film, he signed two big projects for the Telugu producers.

He was paid Rs 25 crore for Prabhas starrer ‘Salaar’, which is under production. The film is being produced by Hombale Films of ‘KGF’. So, he will also get a stake in profits. Neel also took an advance amount for #NTR31, to be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. He has committed to making another Telugu film for producer DVV Danayya.

However, after the pan-India success, he is demanding more remuneration. Mythri Movie Makers and Danayya will have to shell out nearly Rs 50 crore each for their movies.

Prashanth Neel got a huge part in the profits of ‘KGF 2’.

But frankly, he deserves all the money as he delivered a Rs 1000 crore (gross) movie with a star like Yash.
