‘Geeta Govindam’ collected 400k dollars from premiere shows. ‘Liger’ scored better than that. Post-pandemic era, grossing $475k is a big achievement.
Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the boxing drama was released in the USA in a big way. And the Telugu audiences turned up in impressive numbers. After ‘RRR’, ‘Bheemla Nayak’, ‘Radhe Shyam’ and ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’, this is the fifth highest opening for a Telugu movie this year.
