Pushpa 2: OTT premiere with ‘reloaded’ runtime
“Pushpa 2” is ready to make its OTT debut. Netflix secured the film’s OTT rights and announced its premiere date.
Starring Allu Arjun in the title role, “Pushpa 2” has become the second highest-grossing Indian movie of all time. Its Hindi version set new records at the box office.
Now, the OTT version will premiere January 30, 2025, with a 3-hour-44-minute version. Theaters released the film with a runtime of 3 hours and 21 minutes. The makers re-released the movie with an additional 20 minutes of footage calling it “Pushpa 2 Reloaded”. It appears that the OTT version will adhere to the director’s intended runtime of 3 hours and 44 minutes.
Sukumar-directed “Pushpa 2” could not celebrate its success due to police cases and controversies. The film starred Allu Arjun and Rashmika in the lead roles.
