The film industry is buzzing that the team behind “Kalki 2898 AD” is looking for a new release date other than May 9th due to Andhra Pradesh assembly elections. Though there has been no official statement from the producers, it is assumed that the team will need to find a new date.
We’ll have to see if they release the film in May after the elections or in August.
If “Kalki 2898 AD” is moved to August, “Pushpa 2” will need to change its date as well. So, the “Pushpa 2” team is paying close attention to the developments.
According to insiders, “Kalki 2898 AD” plans will not affect any major films. The makers will not disrupt the release plans of other biggies such as “Pushpa 2,” “Devara,” and “Game Changer.” “Pushpa 2” is set to be released on August 15, while “Devara” will hit theaters on October 10.
“Game Changer,” on the other hand, is aiming for a Christmas 2024 release.
