The filming of “Pushpa 2” has resumed and is currently taking place in Hyderabad. The film’s first part titled “Pushpa The Rise” starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna as the lead pair, caused a sensation with its item song. Samantha performed the item song “Oo Antava Mava,” which went viral across India.
Samantha being the top heroine performing such a raunchy number in the most sizzling manner also contributed to the film’s success. Since the beginning of his first film, director Sukumar has been known for creating super hit item songs.
So, who will play the item girl in “Pushpa 2”? Pooja Hegde did the item song in “Rangasthalam,” and Samantha did it in the first part of “Pushpa”. Will he cast another top heroine in this new film?
Sources say that the producers are considering roping in a popular Bollywood actress for this item song in order to get craze to the Hindi version. The first part of “Pushpa” was an unexpected hit in North India. So, with this film, Allu Arjun hopes to expand his Hindi market.
Names like Kriti Sanon and Disha Patani are being bandied about. But it remains to be seen who will play Samantha in the second installment.
