Pushpa finally halts its shoot

The team of ‘Puspha’ has finally halted its shoot after receiving criticism for putting the crew at the risk amid a growing number of COVID-19 cases. The film’s lead hero Allu Arjun also contracted coronavirus while shooting for the film early this week. 

While all big productions have stopped the shootings long back, director Sukumar continued the shoot to finish the portions on Malayalam superstar Fahadh Faasil. But Fahadh left Hyderabad for Cochin after realizing the gravity of the pandemic situation. Sukumar later halted the shoot. 

Starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh, and Anasuya in the main roles, ‘Pushpa’ is an action drama set in the backdrop of Seshachalam forests. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music.
