Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s ‘Pushpa’ has finally begun filming. The movie has commenced its shoot nearly a year after its launch. Allu Arjun has participated in the movie’s shoot today in the Maredumilli forest in the East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh.
‘Pushpa’ sees the teaming up of Allu Arjun and Sukumar after a decade. The duo had earlier worked in ‘Arya’ and ‘Arya 2’. Both Sukumar and Allu Arjun had scored the biggest hits in their careers with their previous movies – ‘Rangasthalam’ and ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ respectively.
‘Pushpa’ is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. The film has Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.
Touted to be a Pan-Indian project, the action drama will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. The main villain has not yet been finalized.
