The latest developments suggest that Rajamouli has informed his team members that their epic period drama ‘RRR’ would hit the screens in the summer of 2022. The film has been postponed from October 13, 2021. However, the film’s lead actors – NTR and Ram Charan – want an early release.
Given the current pandemic situation, it would not be possible for the movie to release this year. But NTR and Ram Charan feel that the summer 2022 release is too late. Sankranthi 2022 would be ideal for them. If Rajamouli relents to NTR and Charan’s request, then he will have to face problems with Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu who had announced their Sankranthi 2022 plans.
There is a chance to get clarity on 20th May, when the team releases a brand new poster of RRR on the occasion of NTR’s birthday.
‘RRR’ needs to complete nearly 40 days of shoot more. The VFX work is underway. Produced by DVV Danayya, ‘RRR’ is the most-awaited biggie.
