Superstar Rajinikanth has joined the Dasara box office battle. His new film “Vettaiyan” will hit theaters on October 10th. Lyca Productions, the production house, today announced the release date for Rajinikanth’s “Vettaiayan.”.
“VETTAIYAN is set to hunt in cinemas worldwide from OCTOBER 10th, 2024! Superstar as Supercop! Releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi & Kannada!,” the announcement read.
T. J. Gnanavel of “Jai Bhim” fame directs this film, in which Rajinikanth plays a cop. The film will now directly compete with Suriya’s “Kanguva”.
“Kanguva” is the most-awaited pan-Indian movie starring Suriya. The trailer was also recently released. Suriya is banking big on this film.
After learning that Rajinikanth’s film might not make it to theaters in October, the “Kanguva” team set October 10th as its date. With Rajinikanth joining the battle, the fight has become interesting.
