Superstar Rajinikanth on Wednesday returned to his Chennai home after completing a month-long shooting schedule in Hyderabad. The video of his wife welcoming him with aarti went viral on social media.
Amid the second wave of COVID-19, Rajinikanth shot for his current film, ‘Annaatthe’ at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The Film City had arranged extra protection for the superstar and to the team of ‘Annaatthe’, He has completed the long schedule. So, his wife gave him a traditional grand aarti welcome.
The Telangana government has imposed a lockdown in the state starting today. So, the shooting had to be halted. The photos of Rajinikanth flying a special jet flight also went viral on social media.
‘Annaatthe’ is directed by Siva. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film has Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Khushbu, and Meena as the female lead cast. Soori, Prakash Raj, Jackie Shroff, and Jagapathy Babu are also to be seen in the key roles.
National award-winning music director D Imman is working for a Rajinikanth film for the first time. ‘Annaatthe’ is scheduled to hit the screens for Deepavali 2021.
