The superstar isn’t about to take it easy. He is back in the acting business and has signed new projects.
He is currently working on the film ‘Jailer,’ directed by Nelson Dileep Kumar. The film will be released later this year. He also appears in his daughter Aishwarya’s directorial project ‘Laal Salaam’ as a guest actor.
He approved two more films in addition to these two. T.J. Gnanavel, who rose to prominence with ‘Jai Bhim,’ will direct one of them. According to the latest buzz, Rajinikanth is also planning to sign a new film under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraju.
He currently has four projects in various stages. He is one of the highest-paid actors in the Indian film industry. He could earn between Rs 350 and 400 crore from these films.
According to sources, he wants to give a large sum of money to his elder daughter, who recently divorced her husband, actor Dhanush. Hence, he is on a signing spree.
