Rakul Preet Singh’s controversial film shelved

Rakul Preet Singh had recently agreed to act in a controversial adult film. She gave a nod to play a condom tester in a Hindi film named ‘Chhatriwali’, and the news created a furor. Rakul said she is game for all sorts of characters.

But the latest we hear is that the film has been shelved now. Producer Ronnie Screwvala himself decided to back off from the project. He sensed that the film would attract a lot of controversy at the time of release. To avoid unnecessary problems, the film has now been put in cold storage.

However, Rakul has a handful of movies in Bollywood. She is one of the busiest actresses in the Hindi film industry.

Rakul also has a release in Telugu next month. She played a shepherd woman in director Krish’s ‘Kondapolam’.
