Director Puri Jagannadh and actress Charmme appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials. The ED sent notices to 12 cinema personalities as part of a money laundering case related to the 2017 drug scandal. Puri Jagannadh was questioned for nearly 10 hours. Charmme also did the same for many hours on Thursday.
The next in line is actress Rakul Preet Singh along with Rana Daggubati. Rakul has been asked to be present on September 6. However, she reportedly sought more time for her appearance. Stating that she has busy shooting schedules, she is seeking more time.
Rakul Preet Singh had earlier appeared before ED in another drug scandal in Mumbai as part of Sushant Singh Rajput’s case.
Rakul Preet Singh has ‘Kondapolam’ due for release next month. She is shooting for a couple of Hindi films.
