We broke the news that director Buchi Babu had switched from NTR’s camp to Ram Charan’s. We also mentioned that the director’s second film will star Ram Charan as the hero, as NTR has expressed no interest in taking on this project right now. As a result, the project is being launched at a rapid pace.
The film starring Ram Charan and Buchi Babu will begin filming after the Sankranthi festival. The script for what is said to be a sports drama has been completed. Sukumar, Buchi Babu’s guru, also assisted in finalising the script. This will be Ram Charan’s 16th film, abbreviated as #RC16.
Ram Charan turned down director Gowtam Tinnanuri’s script in favour of Buchi Babu’s film.
The filming will be completed in 2023. The film is scheduled to be released four months after the #RC15.
We’ll have to wait and see if Buchi Babu goes with top music director Devi Sri Prasad, who was instrumental in the director’s first film’s success. He believes AR Rahman’s music will do his script more justice. However, the Oscar winner is not in great form these days.
