Ram Pothineni on Tuesday took to his social media handle to share that his grandfather has passed away. Remembering him, Ram said his grandfather ‘had a heart of a king’.
His grandfather Pothineni Subbarao breathed his last today in Vijayawada. He was 91. Pothineni Subbarao’s son Sravanthi Ravikishore is a well-known producer.
Ram mentioned that his grandfather had a begun his life as a lorry driver in Vijayawada. “From humble beginnings of a lorry driver in Vijayawada sleeping with lorry tires under your bed to providing & caring for your family, you’ve always had the heart of a King,” he penned the emotional note.
He further added, “You’ve shown us that richness comes not from what’s in your pocket but from what lies in your heart. Thank you for dreaming big for your children & making them what they are today. Rest In Peace, Tatagaru.”
Ram Pothineni’s family hails from Vijayawada. Their family members run various businesses in Vijayawada including the famous Ramesh Hospitals.
