Ram Pothineni and Puri Jagannadh have reunited. They have announced their new film titled ‘Double Ismart’, which is sequel to their first combo film, ‘iSmart Shankar’.
Ram Pothineni’s birthday is tomorrow (May 15). Puri Jagannadh announced the film on this occasion, as well as the release date of March 8, 2024.
The film’s production will begin after Ram finishes shooting his current film, directed by Boyapati Srinu.
Puri Jagannadh made ‘Liger’ with Vijay Deverakonda after the massive success of ‘Ismart Shankar,’ which turned out to be a disaster, and the distributors lost a lot of money. Some of the buyers recently staged dharna at Film Chamber demanding repayment. Puri is hoping that this sequel will help him recover. Puri and his production partner Charmee will bankroll the film.
As it has become a trend now, the makers announced it as a pan-Indian project that will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
