I am proud to embrace motherhood: Upasana

Upasana, Ram Charan’s wife, is in her third and final trimester of pregnancy. On Mother’s Day, she took to social media to show off her baby bump and said she is proud to be a mother.

Upasana and Ram Charan are expecting their first child. In 2012, they married. Upasana has been posting updates about her pregnancy on social media since the beginning.

Upasana also stated that she did not become a mother to leave a legacy or to succumbing to pressure.

“I am proud to embrace motherhood for all the right reasons. I did not do it to conform to society’s expectations or to fit. My decision to become a mother was not driven by a desire to carry on a legacy or to strengthen my marriage,” she wrote on Instagram.

She further added, “I chose to have a child when I was emotionally prepared to give unconditional love & care that my child deserves for his/her overall well-being. Celebrating my first #mothersday.”
