Ram Pothineni turns lyricist, Anirudh lends his voice
After establishing himself as one of Telugu cinema’s popular stars, Ram Pothineni is now showcasing another creative facet: lyric writing. The actor has penned lyrics for a romantic number in his upcoming film, “Andhra King Taluka.”
The song, composed by the musical duo Vivek–Mervin in their Telugu debut, carries an added surprise: top music director Anirudh Ravichander has crooned the track. This marks an exciting collaboration, with the film’s team unveiling the song as its first single. The track is set to drop on July 18.
Ram, known for his witty and expressive posts on social media, is now channeling his flair for words into songwriting.
“Andhra King Taluka” is directed by Mahesh Babu P, who earlier helmed “Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty.” Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film features Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead opposite Ram.
