When promoting the release of the song “Rabba Janda” from her upcoming Bollywood film “Mission Majnu,” Rashmika Mandanna shared her thoughts on romantic songs. Rashmika remarked that while most south numbers were simply mass numbers and item songs, she found herself relating more to the Bollywood romantic songs.

She should have been promoting her song instead of making an unnecessary comparison between South Indian film songs and Bollywood love songs.

It’s understandable why her criticism of southern music has angered fans in South India. She received criticism for her generalizations about the music of south Indian films, and her expertise in the field was called into question. Many people are upset because, in Rashmika’s opinion, southern music consists only of mass and item numbers.

The Telugu films “Geetha Govindam” and “Dear Comrade” both feature her in excellent romantic songs.
