Ravi Teja admires legendary Amitabh Bachchan greatly. He openly expressed that he is a big fan of Bachhan. Director Harish Shankar has selected the title “Mr. Bachchan” as a tribute to Amitabh Bacchan for his upcoming collaboration with Ravi Teja.

The film is being produced by TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory. Vivek Kuchibhotla serves as the co-producer. Bhagyashri Borse, a newcomer, has been cast in the role of the female lead.
This film represents the third collaboration between Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar.
