Now, he has tagged the Andhra Pradesh cinematography minister to provide some knowledge on economics and film business. He tweeted, “Dear honourable minister of cinematography @perni_nani Sir, I would request you to understand that your government has been given the power to support from the bottom and not to sit on the top of our heads…Thank you very much.

He also asked the government if it feels cinema is an essential commodity why doesn’t the government subsidize the tickets.

“Sir,The solution can be in theory of a dual price system where producers can sell tickets at their price and government can buy some tickets and sell it to poor at lower prices so that we get our money and you get your votes,” he further tweeted.

After the Andhra Pradesh government slashed ticket rates in the state, the Telugu film industry is at the receiving end. The maximum price in villages and some towns have been fixed as Rs 15. The government has been arguing that this is their effort to bring entertainment accessible to the poor.
