Sahana Sahana: The Raja Saab’s colorful romance

“Sahana Sahana,” the second single from “The Raja Saab,” has been unveiled, marking the beginning of full-fledged musical promotions for the film. After teasing audiences with the teaser and trailer, the makers have now shifted focus to the soundtrack. The first song, “Rebel Saab,” served as a powerful introduction to the hero, while “Sahana Sahana” explores the film’s romantic side through a soulful duet.

After portraying intense action-driven characters for years, Prabhas was keen to break away from the rugged image and appear in a stylish, romantic avatar. “Sahana Sahana,” composed by Thaman S, offers him that space, showcasing the star in vibrant, colorful outfits as he romances Nidhhi Agerwal. The song has been lavishly picturized at scenic European locations, adding to its visual appeal.

Vishal Mishra lends his voice to the song, with additional vocals by Thaman S and Sruthi Ranjani. Lyricist Krishna Kanth crafts playful, Sanskrit-inspired wordplay that beautifully praises the heroine. While the melody is soothing, it is the rich picturization and eye-catching costumes that truly elevate the song.

Directed by Maruthi, “The Raja Saab” has been in the making for quite some time and is gearing up for a grand release on January 9, 2026.

Notably, this marks Prabhas’s first Sankranthi release in over a decade. Along with Prabhas and Nidhhi Agerwal, the film also stars Malavika Mohanan and Riddhi Kumar in key roles.
