Sai Pallavi’s old interview clips are being twisted against her

Sai Pallavi has been facing a lot of rumors and negative propaganda over the past couple of years. Unlike other actresses who generally deal with dating rumors, she is being targeted through old video interviews resurfacing online, with her statements distorted and presented as if they are recent.

She says she is pained by what appears to be a concerted campaign against her.

Earlier, her video about the Indian Army was twisted and projected as if she were pro-Pakistan. Similarly, her comments about Indian traditions were misrepresented. Due to this, she faced trolling when the makers of “Ramayana” announced her name for the role of Goddess Sita, alongside Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Sriram.

More recently, an old interview discussing her Tamil roots resurfaced, leading to fresh trolling. Critics accused her of favoring Tamil identity and disowning other film industries. However, she clarified that she never disrespected any language or industry and was only sharing that her family hails from Tamil Nadu.

Sai Pallavi further stated that the trend of clipping old interviews, presenting them out of context, and circulating them as current statements is deeply disturbing and hurtful.

Apart from Ramayana, she is currently awaiting the release of her Hindi film “Ek Din.” She has also signed projects like “Kalki 2” and a new film with Dhanush.
