Bollywood actress Saiyami Kher recently opened up about a troubling incident from the early days of her career in the Telugu film industry. In a candid revelation, she shared that a casting agent once suggested she should “compromise” in order to secure more offers in Telugu cinema.
Saiyami made her debut opposite Sai Dharam Tej in his first film, Rey.
Speaking in a recent interview, she recalled how the casting agent encouraged her to be more “flexible” and hinted at compromising her values to land bigger projects. However, Saiyami firmly rejected the suggestion and chose to ignore him. She emphasized that this was the only unpleasant experience she faced in her journey so far.
“I have certain boundaries, and I will never cross them,” she asserted.
Her remarks once again shed light on the pressure some actresses face from casting agents and managers, who often attempt to influence them with promises of an “easy rise” in the industry.
Saiyami was also seen alongside Nagarjuna in the 2022 action film “Wild Dog.”
