Samantha Akkineni is now being faced with heavy trolling. Tamilians are trolling her mercilessly ever since the trailer of ‘The Family Man 2’ came out yesterday.
Samantha has played an extremist named Raji in the web series. She is seen as a villain. The online community of Tamilians seems to have hurt for painting Chennai as the hub of extremists and Samantha acting as an LTTE terrorist. Hashtags like Family Man 2 Against Tamilians and ’ went viral on social media.
‘The Family Man 2’ is the second season of this popular web series directed by Raj & DK. Samantha is making her debut in the OTT space with this web series. Trolls are posting abusive posts against Samantha for essaying the role, which they believe is against the Tamil community.
Samantha and the makers are yet to respond to this online hatred. The series will stream on Amazon Prime on June 4.
