The circumstances surrounding Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s illness and its effect on the production of her upcoming film “Khushi” are well known. As a result, some media outlets reported that Samantha had quit Raj and DK’s upcoming project Citadel, an original webseries starring Varun Dhawan.
However, sources close to her have dispelled these rumours. “The rumours that she was replaced in Citadel are completely false. Production for Citadel will begin in the latter half of the month of January.”
Samantha has an autoimmune disease called myositis. Recently, it was revealed that she will be taking a lengthy leave of absence, so she will be replaced in her upcoming projects.
