Samantha and Naga Chaitanya ended their marriage. They tied the knots in October 2017, and they announced their separation in October 2021.

“I thought I was a much weaker person. I thought that with my separation, I would crumble and die. I didn’t think I was capable of being this strong. Today I’m very proud of how strong I’m,” she said in the interview.

Samantha just wrapped shooting for Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’. She played an item song, a first for her, in the film. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on December 17.

After the separation with Naga Chaitanya, she has signed an international film ‘Arrangements of Love’, and a pan-Indian film named ‘Yashoda’ beside an item song in ‘Pushpa’.
