Samantha returns to the Kushi sets after a long gap

The romantic drama ‘Kushi,’ directed by Shiva Nirvana, finally has Samantha on set after nearly eight months. On March 8, she went back to work as usual. The team greeted her warmly and even had a party to mark the occasion.

Starring Vijay Deverakonda as the male lead, the film’s shooting was stopped in July 2022 as the hero was to promote his film “Liger”. Myositis struck her later, and for months she was confined to her house. She was recently cured of it, and she has returned to filming her web series, Citadel.

Director Shiva Nirvana allegedly threatened to walk away from the project after learning that Samantha had chosen “Citadel” over his movie. But everything is fine now. She picked up where she left off on ‘Kushi.’

This film, “Kushi,” follows a young couple as they make their way through life after meeting in beautiful Kashmir. Production company Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling the film.
